When we got our first Dutch 8 years ago there wasn’t many who knew about the Dutch shepherd. Their popularity has exploded since then. All my litters that I produce are health tested before being considered for breeding. They must pass there OFA’s for hips and elbows and be cleared of degenerative myelopathy. I work with CherCar kennels as my mentor to ensure that I’m bettering the breed. Every litter is tested at about 7 weeks then placed with the right family's.
Proper socialization is essential for Dutch Shepherds to ensure they grow up to be well-rounded dogs. Early exposure to various people, animals, and environments will help them develop good behavior and manners.

My husband and I live on a small island off of Sault Ste. Marie. Michigan with our 4 Dutch Shepherds We received our first Dutch Shepherd in 2016. Taz is our first Dutchie who has taught us a lot through the years. We kept her daughter, Nadia from her second litter. Nadia grew up and had her first litter in 2024. We kept a daughter (Jade) out of Nadia's litter. I also have a niece (Sydney) of Nadia who is from CherCar Kennels. We were so impressed with Nadia's pups we have decided to do the same breeding again this year. Puppy's will be born this summer 2025. Nadia's previous litter produced one police dog, several service dogs, a few sport dogs and a couple family dogs.
The Sire is URO3 USJ CherCar’s Sit Right Back “Hale” from CherCar Kennels out of St. John's Michigan.
Nadia is my personal service dog for mobility, URO3 NN CA CH Titan’s Sugar Island Fiery Lil Devil. She is out of CherCar’s well known Sire Titan and her Dam is USJJ CA CherCars Tasmanian Devil “Taz”who is my husbands personal service dog. She is titled in dock diving and lure coursing.
Nadia has her Championship in Conformation, her title in Advanced nosework (vehicle, containers, interior and exterior) Lure course title and Rally Obedience 3 title. She has a Canadian Rally Obedience Team title and her Novice Rally title. We are one leg from receiving our advanced title.
Nadia’s mother, Taz produced several IGP protection dogs, a certified search and rescue dog, several service dogs and all around great family dogs.
These pups will be a medium drive dog with a well balanced temperament.
They will excel at nosework, agility, dock diving, Rally obedience and also will be suitable for an active family home.
Nadia is the type she can work all day or snuggle on the couch all day. She excels in the obedience ring.
Hale is Cheryl Carlsons (CherCar Kennels) personal dog who has excelled in the Rally Obedience ring and has been trained in protection work. He has his championship title in dock diving.

Puppy prices range from $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

Our approach is focused on placing the right puppy with the right family. All our pups are temperament tested at 7 weeks. They will then be matched with you on what you are looking for in a Dutch Shepherd.
